GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana, organized a one-day seminar on “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji: Life, Bani, and Martyrdom” to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

Ludhiana, November 13, 2025: GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana, organized a one-day seminar on “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji: Life, Bani, and Martyrdom” to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. 
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and invited guests. The event commenced with the recitation of a soulful Shabad by the students, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the day. Prof. Vishavpreet Kaur introduced the theme of the seminar and highlighted the purpose and significance of observing this historic occasion. 
College Principal, Prof. Inderjeet Singh, warmly welcomed all the distinguished guests and participants. In his address, he inspired the students to draw meaningful lessons from the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. He urged them to imbibe Guru Ji’s ideals of truth, courage, compassion, and self-sacrifice in their everyday lives. 
Prof. Amritpal Singh delivered an insightful lecture on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, shedding light on the socio-political context of his time and his unparalleled contributions to Sikh history. 
The keynote speaker, Dr. Balwinderpal Singh, presented a thought-provoking discourse on the philosophy reflected in Guru Ji’s life and Bani. Through references from Gurbani, he emphasized Guru Ji’s universal message of religious freedom, equality, and human dignity. 
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rajindar Singh, who expressed gratitude to all the speakers, participants, and organizers. 
The stage proceedings were efficiently conducted by Prof. Vishavpreet Kaur. 
On this occasion, a large number of students and faculty members were present, including Collegiate School Principal Vinod Kumar, Prof. S.K. Gupta, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, Prof. Navjit Singh, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Gulati, Dr. Amarinder Kaur, and Prof. Lavisha, among others from various departments.
