Jalandhar, December 19, 2022: The P.G Department of Economics of Doaba College, Jalandhar organized seminr entitled "The 5th largest Economy”. Dr. Arti Behl grced the occsion s key speaker. She was accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Suresh Mago-Head, faculty and students.
Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that it is a matter of pride that Indian economy has attained 5th position in world due to various formidable economic factors viz large market size, advance technology, high productivity , better trade policy, improved infrastructure etc and has pushed United Kingdom to 6th slot .
Dr. Arti Behl thoroughly explained the various aspects and key factors that have brought Indian Economy to 5th position. Dr Arti duscussed about the importance of the implementation of well-planned fiscal and growth policies, increase in service sector share in and the use of a technology-based development model which played significant role in catapulting Indian Economy.
