Seminar on Indian and Canadian Education System held in Doaba College

Jalandhar, September 26, 2022: Department of Education, Doaba College, Jalandhar organized a seminar entitled Indian Education System v/s Canadian Education System. Rishi Nagar- Senator, University of Calligraphy, Canada and News Director, FM, Caligary Canada acted as resource person. Principal Dr.Pardeep Bhandari,  Dr. Avinash Chander-Head, faculty and students  welcomed Rishi Nagar. 

Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that regular seminars, symposiums and workshop are organized for students of education department so as to hone their professional and technical skills.

Rishi Nagar shared his personal experiences of Canada. He also talked about the difficulties and hardships faced by the Indian students while studying in Canada. He said students have to face financial, cultural, adjustment and environmental problems, so it would be helpful if Indian students do skill development course from India and then plan to go to Canada. He also discussed about the Indian Education System which needs to give more focus on innovation and creativity. He said that Counsellor should be there in each and every college and school. The session was followed by Question Answer.
