Seminar on Exploring the Challenges in Software Development 

Jalandhar, September 25, 2023: More than 100 students of the department attended a technical seminar on Challenges in Software Development organized by P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT in Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar under Alumni Tech-Talk Series. 

In the continuity of the series, the resource person Amit Kumar Maini, an alumnus of this department and Managing Director of a Noida based Software Development Company Essem Technologies, informed students about the career opportunities in software industry and provided insightful strategies for conquering challenges before software industry. He urged students to utilize the college infrastructure to craft real-world projects, mimicking the professional industry experience. He also shared his experiences in the college as a student. 

Welcoming the chief speaker the College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh highlighted the need for improving one’s technical skills and said that programmes such as the present one could contribute richly to skill development. 
 
The vote of thanks was made by the Department Head Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand. The stage was managed by Dr. Daljit Kaur. Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Prof. Mandeep Singh Bhatia, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Prof. Navneet Kaur, Prof. Himanshu, Prof. Onkar and other faculty members of the department were also present on this occasion.
