Seminar on Dr B.R.Ambedkar and Indian Constitution held in Doaba College

Jalandhar, April 25, 2022: NSS Unit and PG Department of Political Science, Doaba College, Jalandhar, organized a seminar entitled Dr BR Ambedkar and Indian Constitution. Prof Balbir was the key speaker. Prof. Balbir was introduced to the audience by Dr. Arshdeep Singh (Coordinator NSS). Prof. Balbir highlighted the early life, sufferings and challenges of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He stressed that Dr. Ambedkar was against the caste system, injustice and the inequality in any form. He said that Dr. Ambedkar was Scholar par excellence who not only wrote several books but also ameliorated lives of marginalized through social reforms. He said Dr. Ambedkar work for the betterment of the women's workers and the Indian Economy. Lastly, eighty students from different streams were present. Event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rakesh gave vote of thanks.
