Seminar for voter awareness held at SCD Govt College under “I Vote I Lead” Campaign

Ludhiana, December 3, 2021: District Electoral Office Ludhiana and city based youth empowerment organization Initiators of Change under the supervision of Sandeep Kumar ADC Urban Development organized a seminar for Voter awareness at SCD Govt.College Ludhiana. The seminar was addressed by Trishmeet Kaur from the organisation. More than 200 students attended the seminar. Dignitaries present at the seminar were doctor Ranjeet Singh SVEEP nodal officer Ludhiana West, Naman Sekri, Raghav Sachdeva, Arsh Madan and others.
Talking about the initiative Arshia Lekhi, president said that they will be conducting seminars,flash mobs,human chains,rallies and nukkad nataks in this seminar the importance of vote was highlighted and the young voters were motivated to cast their vote in coming elections.The students were also administered the voter oath.The students were given message to motivate their parents,relatives and friends for the larger participation in the democratic electoral process to elect the government of their own choice.The SVEEP team led by Ranjit singh administered the voter oath to the students,
