Jalandhar December 11, 2014: The students and staff of St Soldier Law College organised a seminar to celebrate International Human Rights Day. The theme of the seminar was ‘Human Right to Safe Movement on Roads’. The recent incident of alleged rape of Delhi woman by a taxi driver and other like cases were discussed threadbare by the speakers.
Later on the students and faculty under the leadership of Dr. Subhash Sharma Principal held a demonstration in the campus. The students were holding placards on different aspects of human rights.
Chairman Anil Chopra, Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra and Managing Director Prof. Manhar Arora appreciated the effort of law college and asked them to start a campaign for human right awareness amongst students of different colleges and schools.
