Selection trials for All India Civil Services Basketball Tournament on Jan 15

Ludhiana: The All India Civil Services Basketball Tournament is being organised at Guru Nanak Stadium, here, from January 28-30, 2020. The selection trials for the state-level team would be held at 9 am onwards at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana on January 15, 2020.

While providing information, District Sports Officer Ludhiana Mr Ravinder Singh informed that this tournament is being organised by the Central Civil Service Cultural and Sports Board, Government of India, New Delhi and government employees can participate in it as a player. He said that the Punjab government employees can participate in these selection trials.

He further informed that for the selection of the team, the Punjab Sports Department has constituted a selection committee comprising General Secretary, Punjab Basketball Association, District Sports Officer Ludhiana, basketball coaches Mr Gurmit Singh and Mr Bhavkhandan Singh. He informed that the interested players can attend the selection trials along with their documents from 9 am onwards at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana on January 15, 2020.
