Secretary Education and DC launch Fateh Student Helpline- Karo Har Parikheya Fateh

Secretary Education Kamal Kishore Yadav, Special Secretary Education Vinay Bublani and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Friday launched Fateh Student Helpline- Karo Har Parikheya Fateh to help the students in stress management.

Ludhiana, February 16, 2024: Secretary Education Kamal Kishore Yadav, Special Secretary Education Vinay Bublani and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Friday launched Fateh Student Helpline- Karo Har Parikheya Fateh to help the students in stress management. 

MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi, ADC Major Amit Sareen, ADCP Abhimanyu Rana, Assistant Commissioner Upindejit Kaur Brar and others were also present. 

The students who are appearing in 10th and 12th board exams, can contact 9646470777 for any kind of psychological assistance and counselling to deal with stress. 

Assistant Commissioner (UT) Krishna Pal Rajput who is behind in spearheading the initiative, emphasized that these days students are under a lot of pressure and stress to perform and score the highest marks possible. So, it is necessary for the parents, teachers and for us to communicate to them that exams are not the end and nothing to be afraid of. 

Rajput said that the best way to tackle any examination was to remain calm and take on the papers one exam at a time, without thinking of the results. He said that our endeavour through Fateh Student Helpline was to help guide and help the students to shun their fear of examinations and give them trained listening ears, who will help them through their down times and phases of stress and anxiety. He said that this initiative was being implemented and managed by the District Bureau of Employment and Entreprises , in association with District Education Officer and Indian Red Cross Society, Ludhiana. 

Jeevandeep Singh , EGSDTO PCS Allied briefed that this helpline would be live from 9 am to 9 pm everyday.  He said that 20 counselors had been given special training by Dr Priyanka Kalra , MD,DNB psychiatry , Director of Global Child Wellness Centre, who will be handling the calls.  These counselors will help the students manage their stress and anxiety.
