SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT KVK, FARIDKOT

Ludhiana, November 1, 2017: Scientific advisory committee meeting of KVK Faridkot held on 31.10.2017, in the committee room of KVK. Previous year progress report, future action plan and other major activities of KVK were discussed in this meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Dr.D.S Bhatti (ADE) PAU Ludhiana.
Dr.P.P.S.Pannu, (ADR) PAU Ludhiana also graced the occasion. Heads and representatives from the allied departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy development, Lead bank and progressive farmers/farmwomen were present in the meeting to provide their valuable suggestions.

The meeting was started with a welcome address by Dr. Jagdish Grover (Assoc.Director) KVK, Faridkot and presented the previous year progress report. After a healthy discussion regarding the efficient working of KVK, action plan for the coming year was presented for suggestions and finalization from the house.
Dr. P.P.S. Pannu motivated the scientists for selfless working for welfare and betterment of the farmers in the current critical scenario. Dr. D.S Bhatti in their concluding remarks gave answers/ suggestions after critical analysis and assured the house to incorporate their valuable suggestions in the future action plan as per the mandate of KVK/PAU.
