School of Agriculture of Innocent Hearts Group awarded with “Best Exhibition Stall” in Farmer Fair

Jalandhar, March 31, 2022: School of Agriculture of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions received accolades by winning “Best Exhibition Stall” Award in Farmer Fair organized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Nurmahal. Around 45 teams from different institutions participated in the Fair out of which team of Innocent Hearts awarded with Best Agriculture Project Models.  Students represented models of “Agro-Forestry and Integrated Farming System for Marginal and Small Farmers". Total three models were designed to improve soil fertility, reduce the production cost, sustainable economic growth, and ecosystem sustainability. Prof. Mithilesh (Head, School of Agriculture) received the award from Dr. Surinder Singh (Chief Agriculture officer) along with students.
