Say hello to Shantanu a.k.a Ishaan and Shruti a.k.a Netra on Amazon miniTV’s much-awaited show Campus Beats

Mumbai, September 25, 2023:  Amazon miniTV, Amazon's free video streaming service, recently announced a teen drama, Campus Beats, that has caught the attention of viewers and is stirring up anticipation levels higher with every passing day. Produced by Banijay Asia, the show is set in an elite dance academy, Mumbai University of Movement and Dance a.k.a the University of M.A.D. Things take a turn when a few selected students enroll in the institution as part of a welfare program. The show displays the myriad of emotions and facets of rivalry, friendship, love, and intense competition among the existing and newly enrolled students. Campus Beats will see Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Tanvi Gadkari, Harsh Dingwanii, Tanya Bhushan, Dhanshree Yadav, Teriya Magar, Adnaan Khan, and Rohan Pal in pivotal roles.

Shantanu Maheshwari plays the role of Ishaan, a 24-year-old boy who comes from a wealthy family. Talented and handsome, Ishaan is an existing student of the academy who is well-versed in many street dance styles and aspires to build his future based on his passion for dance. Along with an easy-going persona, Ishan is also fiercely loyal but isn’t ready to commit just yet.

Commenting on his role, Shantanu Maheshwari shares, “Dance has always held a special place in my heart. I started my career with a dance show, and here we are today, where the audience gets to see me again in a character that loves to dance as much as I do in my personal life. Dancing is something that cannot be separated from me and from Ishaan (my character) as well. What initially drew me towards Campus Beats was the vision Palki Malhotra had in creating this fresh teen romance and collaborating with the team again. The series captures the essence of college life in the most authentic way possible. The show is made with utmost passion and a lot of hard work. I hope it will resonate with the viewers.”

Alongside Shantanu, the audience will get to see Shruti Sinha, who essays the role of Netra, a simple and smart young woman from a humble police background adjusting to her new college life.  Netra just joined the college through a welfare program and encounters the paradox of dance cultures only to stumble into a developing love interest for Ishaan. Along with being a beacon of hope in the conflict of OGs vs. BGs, the show transcends into Netra figuring out the mysterious circumstances surrounding her father's death. Well, what happens next is something you will discover while watching this series.

Sharing her take on her character, Shruti Sinha commented, “The show presents a refreshing perspective on today's youth while addressing pressing topics including gender equality, bullying, sexuality, poverty, and self-identity. I believe my character possesses a lot of characteristics that a college student will relate to. Students come to college with a strategy for reaching a particular goal, often without considering potential diversions that may alter the course of their journey just like Netra who does have a motive but unexpectedly ends up becoming the voice for many students like her. I believe the series is gripping enough to keep the viewers hooked to their seats.”

Campus Beats will stream exclusively on Amazon miniTV which is available on Amazon’s shopping app, on Fire TV, and on Play Store.
