Ludhiana: It is indeed a proud moment for Sat Paul Mittal School as Satyan Namya Joshi of Grade VIII has been conferred with prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, 2021, the highest civilian award for an individual below the age of 18. She is the only recipient of this prestigious award from the states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh who has been awarded for her outstanding contribution in the field of innovation.

Shri. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School congratulated Namya on this remarkable achievement. 

Commenting on Namya’s achievement Shri. Rakesh Bharti Mittal said, “It is a proud moment for all of us at Sat Paul Mittal School. The feat achieved by a young Satyan  - Namya is surely an inspiration for the young brigade to dream, aspire and expand their limits. I am confident that this recognition will inspire many more Satyans to push the boundaries and enable them to pursue their dreams, accomplish great things and make meaningful contributions to the society and the Nation.”

Namya is a multi-talented, diligent and innovative change –maker who has numerous accolades to boast of.  Her impressive list of achievements includes honour  by CEO Microsoft Satya Nadella for creating a course material in Minecraft Education Edition and STEM and  President Microsoft India, Mr Anant Maheshwary for training more than 100 of teachers to make their lessons interesting with the help of Game Based Learning  .Whiz-kid Namya loves to train students and teachers and has been a crusader in making learning fun through technology.

Recollecting the time she explored game based learning for the first time, she says, “I remember the software asking for a username and password. I had won a competition at school that day and my mother was feeling generous and that is how I managed to get her login credentials for Mine craft.” She, with her dexterity, subject expertise and extra ordinary teaching talent, has been leveraging technology to make learning and teaching fun both for herself as well as for others, thereby endorsing SKILL BASED Learning. A keynote speaker at ‘KEOS 2019 – a global education conference’ in Jyvaskyla, Finland, she has many a national and international achievements to her credit.  A recipient of E-Innovation Award 2019, she is working on promoting many Global Projects as #SDGsForChildrenAmbassador.

Namya believes in the enabling influence of technology and she wants to leverage the power of technology for the benefit of mankind. Her motto in life is   #EachOneTeachTen. She expounds, “Each one should share the learning with the next ten, and with this chain, we can make this reaction beautiful and impactful.” An empathetic human being and responsible earth denizen, she wants to work assiduously to create awareness about the need to protect the environment and create a balance between society and nature for long term sustainability and cohabitation. Her dream is make India a technology giant in the world and a great force to reckon with. She is a firm believer of the adage,” Stay true to yourself, yet always open to learn, Work hard and never give up your dreams, even if nobody else believes.
