Satyaa Sachee Actress Bhagyashree Mishra on Her Hindi GEC Debut: Hindi is not my first language

They say magic happens when you step out of your comfort zone, and that’s exactly what Bhagyashree Mishra has done! Making her Hindi GEC debut as Sachee in Sun Neo’s upcoming show Satyaa Sachee, Bhagyashree shares how she took this leap of faith, learned a new language, and embraced every challenge with passion and positivity.

Reflecting on her debut journey, she said, "I belong to Odisha, and Hindi is not my first language, but when I got this show, I took it as a personal challenge. I knew that to do justice to my character, I had to become comfortable with the language. I started working hard on improving my Hindi by watching Hindi movies, daily soaps, and talk shows on YouTube to understand the tone, expression, and rhythm of the language. Slowly, I began to enjoy the process. It felt like I was not just learning a new language, but also connecting with a new culture." 

She further added, "I truly believe that while it’s important to stay rooted in your mother tongue, learning our national language is equally essential. Every language has its own beauty, and as they say, ‘Jaisa desh, waisa bhesh’ we must adapt to the place we live and work in. Today, when I deliver my dialogues in Hindi, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. Satyaa Sachee is my first show in the Hindi GEC space, and this opportunity means a lot to me. It’s not just a role it’s a milestone in my journey as an actor. I’m very grateful to the team for trusting me and giving me the platform like Sun Neo to grow and express myself through Sachee.”

The show tells the story of Satyaa and Sachee, two inseparable sisters from a small village. Bold and fearless Satyaa, and gentle, selfless Sachee, share a bond not out of duty, but built on a promise rooted in love. Their connection is natural and unbreakable. No matter what challenges life throws at them, they stand by each other, protecting, supporting, and being a silent strength of each other.
