A girl with a dream in her eyes and hope in her heart, Anandita stepped into the City of Dreams for the very first time, not just as a traveller, but as the lead face of Sun Neo’s show. What started as a work trip soon turned into a beautiful memory she will never forget.
Sharing her heartfelt experience, Aanandita says, “Coming to Mumbai was truly a dream for me. When I left Odisha, I was overflowing with excitement because I was finally going to the city I had wished for so long and that too for my show Satyaa Sachee. I am very thankful to Sun Neo for giving me this chance. It was my first time ever in Mumbai, and I was so emotional. When I saw my posters there, I couldn’t believe it. The dream I had been seeing for years was suddenly in front of my eyes.”
She further added, “I thought I would just come, work, and leave, but I didn’t know that I would also get a chance to explore Mumbai. And when I found out, I was even happier! We went to Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s house, and I clicked so many photos — he’s my favourite actor. I tried all the famous Mumbai foods too: vada pav, pav bhaji, buddhi ke baal, gola at Juhu… everything was amazing! I realised that everyone comes to this city carrying some dream, and somehow Mumbai makes those dreams come true. Maybe that’s why it is called the City of Dreams.”
The show follows the journey of Satyaa and Sachee, two inseparable sisters from a small village. Satyaa is bold and fearless, while Sachee is gentle and selfless yet their bond goes far beyond sisterhood. It’s not just a responsibility, but a heartfelt promise built on pure love.
