Chandigarh, November 10, 2014: The Punjab government has appointed Satvir Kaur Manhera, Member Punjab State Women Commission as the Vice Chairperson of the Commission.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister said that the notification with regard to her appointment, under sub-section (2) (a) and (b) of Section-3 of Punjab State Commission of Women (Amendment) Act, 2014 has been issued by the Social Security and Women & Child Development department. It may be recalled that Satvir Kaur Manhera is the wife of late Mann Singh Manhera.
