Sat Paul Mittal School Unveils Satyan Innovation Fest 6.0: Where imagination meets intent

Ludhiana, May 6, 2026: Marking the beginning of a remarkable journey of imagination and enterprise, Sat Paul Mittal School proudly inaugurated Satyan Innovation Fest (SIF) 6.0—its flagship platform celebrating student-led inquiry, design thinking and meaningful innovation. Setting a powerful tone for the three-day event, the inaugural ceremony highlighted the theme “AI for Good: Building the Future Together.” It brought together young innovators, educators and eminent guests, fostering an environment dedicated to originality, collaboration and solution-oriented learning. With participation from 25 esteemed institutions, the fest continues to strengthen its legacy of nurturing purposeful and future-ready thinkers.

Bipin Gupta, Vice Chairman, Governing Council accorded the chief guest with a floral welcome. The inaugural ceremony at the Mittal Auditorium commenced with a soulful invocation, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the spark of knowledge and creative exploration. The gathering was warmly welcomed by the school leadership who emphasised the importance of opportunities that extend beyond classrooms and textbooks. The unveiling of SIF 6.0 by the Core Committee offered a compelling glimpse into the vision and direction of this year’s edition, building anticipation among all present.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Arpit Dugar, Founder & CEO, Lab of Future, inspired students to move beyond passive learning and become active creators of the future. Drawing from his work in space education and global student missions, he emphasised that true learning emerges when ideas are transformed into action. Encouraging students to build consistently, collaborate fearlessly and solve real-world challenges, he remarked, “Create not just to impress, but to impact—because the true measure of innovation is the difference it makes.”

The day further unfolded with a series of intellectually stimulating and skill-based competitions, where participants showcased ingenuity, analytical thinking and teamwork. Key highlights included Battle of Bands – AI Music Challenge and Portfolio Dashboard. In the AI Music Challenge, students utilised AI tools to compose original music, exploring the intersection of technology and creativity. In the Portfolio Dashboard activity, participants curated structured portfolios reflecting their academic journey and project work, thereby enhancing reflection, organisation and presentation skills. Together, these events reinforced the theme “AI for Good” by integrating innovation with purposeful learning.

The ceremony ended on a vibrant note with a captivating cultural presentation, celebrating the spirit of creativity and collaboration that defines SIF. The esteemed guests were felicitated as a token of gratitude for their inspiring presence and valuable contribution.

The inaugural day concluded with a visit to the exhibition arena, where students presented a diverse range of projects reflecting thoughtful research, creativity and practical application. These exhibits stood as a testament to the learners’ ability to translate ideas into impactful solutions, setting a promising tone for the days ahead.
