Sat Paul Mittal School Organizes SPIC MACAY Programme to Promote Indian Classical Music
Sat Paul Mittal School hosted a mesmerizing musical morning under the aegis of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) on Tuesday. The event provided students with a rare opportunity to experience the rich heritage of Indian classical music.
Ludhiana, May 12, 2026: Sat Paul Mittal School hosted a mesmerizing musical morning under the aegis of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) on Tuesday. The event provided students with a rare opportunity to experience the rich heritage of Indian classical music.
The highlight of the programme was a captivating flute recital by renowned flautist Pandit Ajay Prasanna, accompanied on the tabla by the accomplished Pandit Abhishek Mishra. Together, the maestros created an enchanting atmosphere, transporting the audience into the soulful world of Indian classical music. The students were spellbound by the melodious notes of the flute and the rhythmic brilliance of the tabla.
The programme was attended by students of Classes III to VIII who listened with great interest and admiration. To make the experience more engaging and educational, an interactive session and questionnaire round were organized. The students enthusiastically asked questions about the instruments, the nuances of classical music and the artists’ journeys in the field of music. The distinguished musicians responded warmly, inspiring the young audience with their insights and experiences.
The members of the SPIC MACAY Chapter, Ludhiana were also present on the occasion.
The event served as a wonderful platform to acquaint students with India’s rich cultural traditions and foster an appreciation for the performing arts. Principal Bhupinder Gogia expressed her gratitude to SPIC MACAY and the esteemed artists for offering students such a meaningful and enriching experience.
