Sarkar Tuhade Dwar- MLA, DC and SSP redress people's grievances

Nasrali (Ludhiana), May 20, 2023: Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sondh, Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik and SSP Amneet Kondal on Saturday held a camp in Nasrali village under Sarkar Tuhade Dwar program of Punjab government where they met hundreds of people and redressed their grievances on the spot. 

Officers and heads of various departments including Labour, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities , Health, Co-opertive, Forest, Powercom, Water Supply, Education and Food Supply were also present on the occasion and responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments. 

Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik listened to grievances and issues of people patiently. She said most of the grievances of immediate nature were redressed on-the-spot. She said that the project of widening of Khanna-Malerkotla had already been taken up and funds will be issued. 

Addressing the villagers, Malik said that under the ‘Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ programme, such camps will be held in villages and urban areas of the district so that people do not have to face problems in visiting the government offices to get their grievances solved. She said that officers of the government departments would visit them every week to resolve their issues at their doorsteps.

MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sondh said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was committed to make Rangla Punjab. He said that 300 free electric units, Aam Aadmi Clinics, Schools of Eminence, more than 29000 government jobs and several other pro-people decisions were being implemented.

He further said that under the programme, the schemes of the state government will also be widely disseminated among people and maximum benefits of the schemes will be given to the general public in the camp itself so that no beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of any government scheme.

Prominent amongst those present included ADC Amarjeet Bains, SDM Manjeet Kaur, Tehsildar Navdeep Bhogal, Naib Tehsildar Gurpreet Kaur.
