Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy: Learning Paths School enters finals by defeating Doon International in Girls U-12 category
Quarterfinals and one semi final played on the sixth day of the tournament
Chandigarh, November 10, 2025: The sixth day of the Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy witnessed intense quarterfinal matches and one semifinal game on Monday. In the Girls Under-12 semifinal, Learning Paths School, Mohali defeated Doon International School, Mohali to secure a spot in the finals. The players displayed great energy, teamwork, and determination throughout the match. Learning Paths School edged past Doon International with a close 12-10 win. Ambreen scored 6 points for the winning team, while Japleen contributed 4 points for Doon International.
In addition, teams in the Under-12, Under-14, and Under-17 categories advanced to the semifinals after winning their respective quarterfinals. The day was filled with exciting matches that kept the spectators engaged, with the girls’ teams, in particular, delivering outstanding performances.
Quarterfinal Results:
In the Girls Under-12 category, Saupins School, Chandigarh defeated Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh 7–4. Radhika from the winning team scored 4 points, while Grisha from Sacred Heart also scored 4 points.
In the Boys Under-14 category, Y.P.S. School, Mohali outplayed Learning Paths School, Mohali 52–32. Simratjot from Y.P.S. was the top scorer with 19 points, while Jaskeerat from Learning Paths managed 4 points.
In the Girls Under-14 category, Vivek High School, Mohali defeated Delhi Public School (DPS), Chandigarh 20–5. Gurrehmat from the winning team scored 15 points, while Anupriya from DPS contributed 4 points.
In another Girls Under-14 match, Learning Paths School, Mohali triumphed over Y.P.S. School, Mohali 24–11. Khushnoor showcased brilliant play, scoring 16 points, while Nehmat from Y.P.S. scored 5 points.
In the Girls Under-17 category, Learning Paths School, Mohali beat Vivek High School, Mohali 24–12. Harneet scored 10 points for the winners, while Navna from Vivek High contributed 7 points.
Under-10 Results:
In the Girls Under-10 category, Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh defeated Saupins School, Chandigarh 7–2. Renuka from the winning team scored all 7 points, while Riyanshi from Saupins added 2 points.
In another Girls Under-10 match, Vivek High School, Chandigarh beat Vivek High School, Mohali 8–2. Rahmat scored 7 points for the winners, while Shahana from Vivek High, Mohali managed 1 point.
In the Boys Under-10 category, Amity International School, Mohali won a close contest against Vivek High School, Mohali 2–1. Kelvish scored both points for Amity, while Hayansh scored 1 point for Vivek High School, Mohali.
