Sara Ali Khan, Masoom Minawala and Kusha Kapila select 25 Under 25 instagrammers of India

As a part of Instagram’s effort to celebrate young people who inspire others with the way they express themselves, youth icon and popular Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan helped select the 25 Under 25 Instagrammers of India. Others who joined her in this initiative from Instagram, were Masoom Minawala and Kusha Kapila, among others. 
 
Instagram has always been a platform for people to express themselves and be entertained. Since the launch of Reels though, the platform has seen a rise in the number of young people showcasing their talent and garnering a strong community in the process. This year, as part of the platform’s marketing campaign, such creators have been recognized by highlighting their success across media formats. Now, ‘25 Under 25 Instagrammers of India’ is another step as part of the same effort. 
 
The list is meant to represent the most exciting and trailblazing creators on Instagram, who’re exploring and expressing themselves, telling their communities unique stories, using Reels, and encouraging others to do the same too. The list has been selected by a diverse and accomplished set of judges, along with Instagram. They are actor Sara Ali Khan; creators Kusha Kapila and Masoom Minawala; Nikhil Taneja, co-founder and CEO of the youth media company, Yuvaa (@weareyuvaa); GV Prakash, popular music composer for Tamil and Telugu movies, Aju Philip, co-founder of the influencer marketing agency @fabsquadmedia and Manish Chopra, Director & Head of Partnerships, Facebook India. 
 
Actor, Sara Ali Khan, said, “I’m constantly amazed and enthused by the creativity that people are showcasing on Instagram. With Reels especially, it’s great to see new and young faces that are constantly breaking out with their transitions, trends, and challenges. I’m happy to have played a small part in selecting the creators who’re part of this elite 25 Under 25 list. It was an absolute privilege looking at their accounts and I’m taking inspiration from them, for my upcoming Reels too.”
