Mohali, June 13, 2022: With an aim to protect the cotton and rice crop from harmful pesticides and to increase the good-quality production of the crop, India's leading agri-chemical company—Indophil Industries Ltd, in association with Japanese company Mitsui Chemical, launched a new and modern pesticide ‘Sappers’ and ‘Skystar’ in the market on Monday.

While addressing the media on the behalf of Indophil, Dr Amarnath Chandrani C, vice president of strategic marketing; and Parkash Bhoir, general manager, sales, said that the farmers in India face huge loss when harmful insects attack their crop. 

“Insect green leaf hopper attacks and destroys the cotton crop while brown planthopper insect destroys the paddy but with the use of modern pesticides Sapper and Skystar, the farmers  will not face this major challenge of crop failure”, they said.

“These modern pesticides will directly benefit the farmers as their cotton and paddy crop can now be completely free of more insects”, they further added.    

During the product launch Monday, Marketing Head India Mahesh Khambete; Portfolio Head Amit Singh; National DG Manager Yogesh Aggarwal; Product Development Manager Mahesh Pawar; Brand Manager Praveen Gaur; Communications manager Surabhi Soni; Zonal Manager North Sanjeev Sharma; Regional Manager Haryana Indervesh; and Zonal DG Manager Chandershekhar; were also present.
