Jalandhar, August 10, 2026: Sanskriti KMV School observed National Deworming Day (NDD) by organising an Open House Session for the parents, in accordance with the guidelines of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab.
The session was thoughtfully designed to sensitise parents to the importance of regular deworming, personal hygiene, sanitation, and healthy everyday practices that contribute significantly to a child's physical well-being and healthy development. The importance of timely deworming in preventing intestinal worm infections, improving nutritional health, and promoting the overall growth and wellbeing of children was also explained to the parents and students.
As part of the initiative, deworming tablets were administered to all eligible students from the Pre-primary Wing to Grade XII in accordance with the prescribed health guidelines.
Principal, Rachna Monga, emphasised the significance of prioritising children's health from their earliest years. She remarked that healthy children are better prepared to learn, explore, participate, and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.
Through such initiatives, Sanskriti KMV School continues to strengthen health awareness among its young learners and empower parents to take informed steps towards their children's well-being.
