Jalandhar, August 17, 2026: Sanskriti K.M.V. School successfully hosted the Punjab School Khedo Zone No. 1 Volleyball and Basketball Tournament for boys and girls in the past few days. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 500 players and officials representing leading schools, including Police D.A.V School, British Olivia School, IVY World School, APJ School, Army Public School, Government School Tallan, Kotli Than, Hazara, Guru Angad Dev School, and the host school, Sanskriti K.M.V. School.
The host school delivered an outstanding performance in the Boys' Volleyball Championship, securing First Position in the Under-14 category and Second Position in the Under-17 category, thereby emerging as the Overall Champion in Volleyball. Police D.A.V. School secured the Overall Runner-up Trophy in the volleyball event.
In the Boys' Basketball Championship, Police D.A.V. School clinched the First Position in both the Under-17 and Under-19 categories, earning the Overall Championship Trophy, while British Olivia School finished as the Overall Runner-up.
In the Girls' Basketball Championship, Delhi Public School emerged as the Overall Champion, while IVY World School secured the Overall Runner-up position.
Congratulating the winners, Principal and Chief Organiser Ms. Rachna Monga applauded the exceptional sportsmanship and dedication displayed by all the participants. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to the players selected for the Zone No. 1 Team and conveyed her best wishes for their outstanding performance in the forthcoming District-Level Tournament.
