Ludhiana, April 1, 2026: Sankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana has achieved a significant milestone, completing 15,500 free eye surgeries as on March 31. This accomplishment highlights their commitment to eliminating preventable blindness in the region, said Ranjodh Singh, Patron of Sankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana.
The hospital has been actively conducting eye screening and surgical outreach programs across 21 districts of Punjab, providing quality and affordable eye care to thousands over the past 13 years. 
Dr. RV Ramani, Bharath and Dr Manoj Gupta highlighted the importance of eye care and Sankara’s commitment to work for the society and provide world class treatment to all. 
Sankara is planning to expand its services to the remaining districts of Punjab through its outreach program by organising eye medical camps in remote areas of the state. Sankara Eye Hospital is dedicated to delivering compassionate and accessible eye care to all sections of society.
