Sankara Eye Care Institutions (SECI) recognised with Medical Excellence Award 2014

Ludhiana, January 28, 2014: On the eve of Republic Day 2014, under the patronage of Six Sigma Star Healthcare, awards were given to number of individuals and institutions associated with Healthcare for their exemplary services in the field of Healthcare.
SECI was recognised for its services for their excellent service to the community in the field of eye care. The award was received by Brig. M.S Gujral (Retd.), CEO – Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana on behalf of the institution.
SECI was founded by Dr. RV Ramani&Dr.RadhaRamani since 1977 and from that time it is working towards freedom from preventable and curable blindness and having a mission to provide an unmatched eye care through a strong service oriented team. SECI was extended totally free eye care to more than 6 million and performed more than 1.1 million totally free eye surgeries during 37 years of its existence.
The award function was organised in Indian Medical Auditorium, IMA House, New Delhi along with a seminar on Role of Medical Professionals in treating Lifestyle Diseases in the changed social set up. The award presentation panel comprised of leading experts in the field of healthcare viz. Dr. D.S Rai (Vice President – IMA), Dr. M.C Mishra (Dir.
