Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon took part in a 'chhabeel' and distributed sweetened water to passersby. The 'chhabeel' was organised Bharat Vikas Parishad, South Branch-5, Chandigarh, at the Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 46, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, June 18, 2026: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon took part in a 'chhabeel' and distributed sweetened water to passersby. The 'chhabeel' was organised Bharat Vikas Parishad, South Branch-5, Chandigarh, at the Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 46, Chandigarh. Tandon participated in the service initiative and appreciated the efforts of the organisation in providing relief to people during the scorching summer heat.
Tandon said that service and philanthropy hold a special place in Indian culture. Providing cool and refreshing water to passersby and devotees during the peak summer season is a true act of humanity.
“Indian culture has always guided us with the message of ‘service to humanity is service to God’. When members of society come together to help others, it strengthens social bonding and reinforces our shared values of compassion and responsibility,” Tandon said.
Appreciating the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad South Branch-5, he congratulated all office bearers, members and volunteers for their dedication and commitment towards social service.
