Sanjay Tandon meets BJP National President Nitin Nabin, discusses organisational strengthening in Himachal and Chandigarh
Senior BJP leader, Member of party's National Council and Co-Incharge of Himachal Pradesh BJP, Sanjay Tandon, on Thursday called on BJP National President Nitin Nabin in New Delhi and held detailed discussions on key organisational and political matters concerning Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, August 6, 2026: Senior BJP leader, Member of party's National Council and Co-Incharge of Himachal Pradesh BJP, Sanjay Tandon, on Thursday called on BJP National President Nitin Nabin in New Delhi and held detailed discussions on key organisational and political matters concerning Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.
In a statement, Sanjay Tandon said, "It was a warm and productive meeting with our National President Nitin Nabin. I apprised him of the organisational progress in Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and discussed the political and developmental issues concerning these regions."
During the meeting, Tandon briefed the BJP National President on the party's organisational affairs in Himachal Pradesh, the prevailing political scenario and ongoing efforts to further strengthen the organisation across the state in his capacity as Co-Incharge of the Himachal Pradesh BJP.
The meeting also focused on organisational developments in Chandigarh and preparations for the forthcoming Municipal Corporation elections. Both leaders deliberated on measures to expand the party's outreach, reinforce its grassroots network and further consolidate the BJP's position in Chandigarh.
Tandon who is also a former President of Chandigarh BJP further said, "With the Municipal Corporation elections approaching in Chandigarh, we discussed a comprehensive strategy to further strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and ensure that the BJP continues to serve the people with greater commitment and dedication."
Tandon added, "The guidance of our National President has always inspired party workers and provided fresh energy and direction to the organisation. Under his leadership, the Bharatiya Janata Party is moving ahead with renewed resolve to strengthen the organisation and fulfil its commitment to nation-building and public welfare."
