Chandigarh, October 17: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon, convenor of the initiative ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang’, on Saturday felicitated the Zila In-charges of the 'Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang'  campaign, for their efforts in creating rangolis showcasing India’s development journey under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership over the past 25 years.
Tandon, who was the convenor of the programme, met all the Zila In-charges of  the 'Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang' programme and the artists who made the rangolis  associated with the initiative. Tandon thanked them for their efforts in creating colourful and impactful rangolis showcasing India’s development under the Modi government. He also felicitated them in recognition of their contribution and commitment to the campaign.
The initiative was organised under the aegis of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', which commenced on September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, and concluded on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said the rangoli programme was conceived to spread awareness among people about the development initiatives and welfare schemes undertaken in Gujarat and across the country during the last 25 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
He said the creative use of rangolis had provided an effective medium to connect people with the country’s development journey and highlight the impact of various public welfare measures.
“Over the last 25 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated himself to public service and the development of the nation. Through ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang’, we sought to showcase this remarkable journey and make people aware of the development initiatives and welfare schemes that have transformed lives,” Tandon said.
Emphasising the importance of collective participation in nation-building, he said India was steadily progressing on the path of development and that realising the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 would require the active involvement of every citizen.
“The vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 is not merely a goal set by the government; it is a collective national aspiration. Every citizen has a role to play in achieving it. We must work together with a spirit of service, dedication and commitment to take our country to greater heights,” he added.
