Ludhiana, November 16, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) proudly inaugurated the S.Angad Singh Memorial 11th CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 at GRD Academy, Hambran Road, Haibowal, Ludhiana.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Hardeep Singh Mundian, Cabinet Minister, Government of Punjab, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He extended his best wishes to all participating teams and emphasized the importance of sports in promoting teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among the industrial and corporate community.
CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja along with Honey Sethi - General Secretary CICU, Ajay Bharti Finance Secretary CICU, Gautam Malhotra – Vice President CICU, Kanish Kaura – Vice President CICU welcomed the Chief Guest and highlighted that the annual tournament aims to strengthen corporate bonding, encourage sportsmanship and create a platform for positive engagement among industry members.
A large number of Industrialists Padam Shree Omkar Singh Pahwa CMD Avon Cycles Ltd., J. R. Singal CMD Eastman Group, industry representatives and team players were present during the inauguration ceremony. The event commenced with great enthusiasm and was followed by exciting league matches.
Group – A match was played between the teams of TRB Group V/s. Uniparts India Ltd. The toss was won by TRB Group and decided to field first. Uniparts India Ltd. scored 185 runs in 20 overs by losing 4 wickets and TRB Group scored 118 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 Wickets. The Match was won by Uniparts India Ltd. team by 67 runs. Mr. Aman Bhatia batsman of Uniparts India Ltd. scored 32 runs with 5 fours in 21 balls was the Man of the Match.
