Chandigarh, December 27, 2025: In the Chandigarh Youth Football League for State Championship (Under-15 Boys), Sandhu FC and St. Stephen's FC have entered the final with stellar performances. Meanwhile, Banyan Tree FC and St. John's FC's journey ended with losses in the semi-finals.
In the first semi-final played at the Sector-46 Sports Complex, St. Stephen's FC defeated Banyan Tree FC 2-0. The first 20 minutes of the match were very exciting, but neither team could score. In the 23rd minute, Nitin scored the first goal for St. Stephen's. Then, in the 45th minute, Armaan scored the second goal, securing the team's victory and a place in the final.
The second semi-final was played between Sandhu FC and St. John's FC, in which Sandhu FC won a hard-fought match 1-0. The first 25 minutes of the match saw an even contest between both teams. A goal scored by Yash in the 29th minute gave Sandhu FC the lead, which they maintained until the end.
Sandhu FC also reached the semi-finals in the Under-13 category
In the Under-13 category as well, Sandhu FC has reached the semi-finals. By securing the top position in Group A, the team entered the top four. Sandhu FC's semi-final match will be against Himalayan FC on December 28. In the other semi-final, Vivek FC and Saffron Arrows FC will face each other.
