Jalandhar, November 2, 2015: It was a matter of immense pleasure for DIPS Tanda to host Sahodaya Inter School Science and Maths Quiz Competition on 31st October. This competition was organised under the noble guidance of Chairman S.Gurbachan Singh , C.EO Mrs.Monika Mandotra, Director Mrs.Lakhwinder Kaur and Principal Mrs.Divya Chawla .The dignitaries present on the occasion were Vice-Chairperson Mrs.Preetinder Kaur and Chief Advisor Dr.Jyoti. 24 schools participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The competition was divided into pre-liminary and final round.Six teams MGN Public School, State Public School, Police Dav Public School, DIPS Nurmahal,Shiv Jyoti Public School, DIPS Karol Bagh.were selected for the final Round.Final Round consisted of Question Round.Picture Composition Round,Visual Round and Rapid fire Round.Jasmeen Kaur(X) and Navjot Kaur (IX) hold the stage and gave the necessary instructions related to the rounds.The competition commenced with the welcome speech by H.O.D English Mrs.Kamaljit Kaur followed by final quiz,song by Ms.Kiran and vote of thanks by Mrs.Daljit Vendil.It was a challenging competition in which State Public School declared winner followed by Police DAV Public School on the second place and DIPS Nurmahal onthe third place. Vice-Chairperson Madam Mrs.Preetinder kaur and Chief Advisor Madam Dr.Jyoti congratulated the winners and motivated them to work harder.
Principal Mrs Divya Chawla thanked the dignitaries and congratulated the winners and encouraged them to do their best in future.
