Sony SAB’s Yaadein is entertaining audiences with its unique mix of humour, heart, everyday relationships and intriguing medical cases. As Dr. Dev Mehta (Iqbal Khan) is sent to Killari village for six months of community service, he finds himself adjusting to a completely different way of life while his children choose to move with him.
With his family now beginning a new chapter in the village, the story is set to welcome new faces and fresh dynamics. Joining the cast is Sehaj Rajput as Gia, who brings a fresh perspective and new energy to the character. With her entry, Gia’s journey is set to take an interesting turn as she finds herself becoming part of the new world around Dr. Dev and his family. Alongside her, Sachin Kavetham enters the show as Malhar Patil, a charming, carefree and charismatic young man from Killari. The moment Malhar sees Gia, he is instantly drawn to her setting the stage for an interesting new dynamic between the two. As their paths come together in Killari, it remains to be seen how Malhar and Jiya’s equation unfolds.
Talking about stepping into the role of Gia, Sehaj Rajput shares, “Gia is a character I’m really excited to explore and I am looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective and energy to her. There is a lot about her that I’m discovering as I play her and I’m excited for the audience to see this new side of Gia. She is a sweet and caring person and I resonate a lot with her. I am happy to be joining such a warm and talented team.”
Talking about entering Yaadein as Malhar, Sachin Kavetham shares, “I am really excited to be a part of Yaadein and to begin this new journey as Malhar. He is a charming, carefree and innocent character, and it will be exciting for me to explore these qualities through my performance. I am also looking forward to working with Iqbal sir and Gulki ma’am.”
