Dharamshala, August 9, 2019: The Ryerson University of Toronto, Canada has thanked Aashna Sharma a Senior Research Fellow in Wild Life Institute of India for presenting her talk titled “sampling macro invertebrates for stream monitoring”, in the ‘citizen science, open data and water monitoring workshop’ organised last month by Ryerson University and IMPACTS at Bangalore in India.

In a letter written to Aashna Sharma, Dr S M Thomas of Department of Chemistry and Biology of Ryerson University has thanked Aashna for sharing her knowledge and expertise with international scientists and expressed the desire to work with her in the future too.
Aashna Sharma, who is a resident of Dharamshala in Himachal has completed her academic studies from PU Chandigarh is currently busy with environmental research work in WII Dehradun, in connection with fresh waters streams of Himalayas.
