Run for Warriors organised by Doaba College

Jalandhar, July 26, 2023: Doaba College Jalandhar in collaboration with Hawk Riders organised Run for Warriors dedicated to Kargil Vijay Diwas. Alik Sondhi- General Secretary, College Managing Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Dr. Satpal Gupta, Rohit Sharma- Hawk Riders, Dr. Pooja Kapoor, Dr. Manjula, Dr. Sanjeev Duggal, Dr. Manju, Sunil Sharma, Sarvraj Kumar, Saravjeet Sharma and Sh. Pawan Kumar as Guests of Honour. The dignitaries were accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Prof. Sukhvinder Singh, Dr. Ominder Johal, Dr. Suresh Mago and Prof. Naveen Joshi- Event Coordinators, staff students and citizens of Jalandhars.

While welcoming the guests Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari that inspite of adverse conditions and limited resources Indian Army exhibited rare valour and supreme sacrifice while defending the frontiers of the country. He motivated the students to take inspiration from these martyrs and work for the betterment of the country.    

Alok Sondhi said the Run for Warriors Event is a true salute in honour of our soldiers who are always on their toes to defend their country, students should take inspiration from the sense of dedication of these soldiers towards their motherland. 

Thereafter Alok Sondhi and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari flagged off 4.8-Km Run for Warriors which begin from Doaba College Campus covering Doaba Chowk, Pathankot Bypass Chowk, Lamba Pind Bypass Chowk, Kishan Pura Chowk and back to college campus.

Alok Sondhi and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari gave mementoes and certificates to the dignitaries and the participants.
