`Rukhsat 2025’ – A Heartfelt Farewell at GGNIMT

Ludhiana, April 30, 2025: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) bid an emotional adieu to its final-year students through a vibrant and memorable farewell party, aptly titled ‘Rukhsat 2025’. The event celebrated the journeys and achievements of graduating students from various disciplines including BBA, B.Com (Hons.), BCA, BHMCT, B.Sc. (Fashion Designing), MCA, and MBA.
 
The campus came alive with an array of cultural performances. Students showcased their talents through energetic dance numbers and soulful singing acts, creating a festive atmosphere. A major highlight of the evening was a Fashion show presented by the Department of Fashion Designing, which beautifully portrayed a fusion of modern attire with culturally inspired ensembles. The collection reflected creativity, diversity, and an appreciation for tradition blended with contemporary trends.
 
Addressing the students, Professor Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director of GGNIMT, extended his best wishes and encouraged the graduating batch to make wise decisions as they embark on new paths. Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal of GGNIMT, also shared his heartfelt wishes for the students’ future success and growth.
 
A farewell contest was organized to recognize the charm and charisma of the outgoing students. In the Undergraduate category, Shiv from BCA (6th Semester) and Shruti from B.Com (Hons.) (6th Semester) were crowned Mr. Personality and Ms. Personality respectively. Arshdeep Singh from BBA and Niharika from B.Sc. Fashion Designing took home the Mr. Handsome and Ms. Beautiful titles. The Mr. and Ms. Well Dressed honors were awarded to Chintu from B.Com (Hons.) and Nimarpreet from BHMCT. The coveted Mr. and Ms. Farewell 2025 titles were awarded to Sukhpreet Singh (BCA) and Mehardeep Kaur (BBA).
 
In the Postgraduate category, Amritpal Singh and Sukhpreet Kaur, both from MBA, were named Mr. and Ms. Farewell 2025, recognizing their overall personality, presentation, and campus presence.
 
‘Rukhsat 2025’ was not just a farewell—it was a celebration of memories, achievements, and aspirations. The event concluded with heartfelt goodbyes, laughter, and promises to stay connected, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
