Rohtak, March 20, 2026: Pratap Singh, the ‘Prant Sanghchalak’ of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Haryana, said that 1,468 delegates from across the country participated in the three-day ‘Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’ held at ‘Madhav Srishti’ in Samalkha (Panipat).

The program was inaugurated by ‘Sarsanghchalak’ Dr. Mohan Rao Bhagwat and ‘Sarkaryavah’ Dattatreya Hosabale by offering floral tributes to a portrait of ‘Bharat Mata’. During the proceedings, in-depth discussions were held regarding the expansion of the organization, its operational methodology, and future plans.

Pratap Singh, the ‘Prant Sanghchalak’, shared this information while interacting with journalists in Rohtak. Also present on the occasion were Haryana's ‘Prant Prachar Pramukh’ Rajesh Kumar, ‘Zila Sanghchalak’ Devender Kumar, and ‘Zila Karyavah’  Sushil Kumar.

The ‘Prant Sanghchalak’ informed that during the meeting, special emphasis was placed on organizing large-scale programs across the country through the RSS to mark the 650th birth anniversary of ‘Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj’, and on disseminating his teachings to the last person in society. Additionally, a significant decision was taken regarding the geographical restructuring of the organization. A proposal was passed to modify the current structure—comprising 11 ‘Kshetras’ (Zones) and 46 ‘Prants’ (Provinces)—into a new framework consisting of 9 ‘Kshetras’ and over 80 ‘Vibhags’ (Divisions). This new arrangement is set to come into effect after March 2027, and is expected to bring increased momentum and effectiveness to the organization's work.

During the meeting, a review was also conducted of the programs currently underway as part of the RSS's centenary year celebrations; strategies were formulated to successfully complete these programs in regions where they are still pending. In terms of logistics and organization, the volunteers from Haryana demonstrated exemplary management skills. The event also reflected a distinct consciousness regarding the use of ‘Swadeshi’ products and the importance of environmental conservation.

On this occasion, statistical data regarding the RSS's various activities was also presented, highlighting the extensive public participation achieved across the country through a vast network of ‘Shakhas’, conferences, and public outreach campaigns. On the occasion of the completion of 150 years since the composition of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’, and under the aegis of the Shakha-Centric ‘Vande Mataram Pakhwada’ organized by the Intellectual Wing of the Haryana, a total of 4,839 volunteers across 599 ‘Shakhas’ engaged in the regular practice of singing ‘Vande Mataram’.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of ‘Hind ki Chadar, Guru Tegh Bahadur’—and as part of the "Martyrdom Commemoration Week"—this theme was disseminated among 7,296 volunteers across 633 ‘Shakhas’. The Sangh celebrated the ‘Vijayadashami’ festival at 1,106 locations throughout Haryana. During this period, ‘Path Sanchalan’ were conducted at 525 locations, witnessing the participation of a total of 70,305 volunteers.

As the Sangh approached the completion of its centenary year, a ‘Home Contact Campaign’ was undertaken by volunteers, reaching out to 6,418 villages and 1,443 residential settlements. During this drive, contact was established with 3,074,206 households.

The ‘Prant Sanghchalak’ Pratap Singh said that public inclination towards the RSS is currently witnessing a continuous upward trend. In the year 2025, 83,129 ‘Shakhas’ were operational across 51,740 locations; by 2026, this figure had risen to 88,949 ‘Shakhas’ across 55,683 locations. Thus, there was a nationwide increase of 5,820 ‘Shakhas’. Meanwhile, in Haryana, 2,644 ‘Shakhas’ are currently operational across 1,424 locations.
