Royal Roads University Canada Representative Visits IKG PTU

· Deliberations are made over joint ventures in various field

Jalandhar/Kapurthala, December 20, 2017, 2017: A representative named Ms. Shweta Sharma of Canadian University Royal Roads visited I K Gujral Punjab Technical University today. It was her official visit and the concerns of representative were to offer collaborative programmes to IKG PTU. Trade Commissioner Canada Gurbans Sobti also knocked University. Dean Planning & External Development Dr. Narinder Paul Singh welcomed to foreign representatives.
The meeting was held at dean’s office and many deliberations were made in various areas for the collaboration between both the Universities. It was decided that a
Faculty Development Programme will be organized in University campus as well as in the Campus of RRU for the overall development of both University faculties. Summer Schools for the students will be also organized to develop leadership qualities & skills among them. Both parties also deliberated about to start degree level programmes in the areas of Mass Communication & Journalism, Hotel Management & Project Management etc. Both Universities will work to converted courses into Short-term blended programs. The possibility of internship programmes for the students was also on agenda.
On this occasion, Dr Anirudh Pratap Singh, Dean RIC, Dr RPS Bedi Controller Examinations, Dr Amanpreet Singh Registrar and Dr. S.K. Mishra, finance Officer were also present.
