A Rotary Mega Medical Camp was successfully organised at Guru Amar Das Apahaj Ashram, Village Sarabha, Ludhiana, in association with the specialist doctors’ team from MohanDai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, January 5, 2026: A Rotary Mega Medical Camp was successfully organised at Guru Amar Das Apahaj Ashram, Village Sarabha, Ludhiana, in association with the specialist doctors’ team from MohanDai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana.
During the camp, on-the-spot free blood pressure, blood sugar and bone density tests were conducted by skilled technicians from the hospital. For other investigations, as advised by the doctors, blood samples were collected by pathology technicians.
A large number of inmates of the Apahaj Ashram, including several mentally disturbed residents, were examined by Dr. Roshan Lal Narang, who also provided medical consultation and guidance to the patients.
In support of the noble humanitarian work being carried out at the institution, Rtn. PP Er. M. S. Dhaliwal presented a cheque of Rs. 51,000 to Dr. Mangat, Founder of the Ashram. On the occasion, Rtn. President Dinesh Gogna donated Rs. 5,100, while Rtn. N. S. Bindra contributed Rs. 1,000 to the Ashram.
Further strengthening medical support, Rtn. PP Dr. R. L. Narang donated 10,000 tablets of various commonly used medicines to the Ashram.
Residents from nearby villages also benefited from the camp by availing free medical tests, free medical consultations and free medicines.
Dr. Mangat, Founder of Guru Amar Das Apahaj Ashram, extended warm hospitality to the Rotarians and members of the medical team and expressed gratitude for their humanitarian service. The camp reflected Rotary’s continued commitment to community service and healthcare for the underprivileged.
Rotarians President Dinesh Gogna, PP & Secretary Vijay Anand, PP Dr. R. L. Narang, PP Er. M. S. Dhaliwal, N. S. Bindra and Parminder Singh Grewal actively participated in the camp.
