Rotary Club of Rohtak Next donates Five Air Conditioners to PGIMS Cancer Oncology Department

All five air conditioners donated by Rotary Club of Rohtak Next to the Cancer Oncology Department of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR) PGIMS, Rohtak, have been successfully installed and are now fully operational.

Rohtak, August 7, 2026: All five air conditioners donated by Rotary Club of Rohtak Next to the Cancer Oncology Department of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR) PGIMS, Rohtak, have been successfully installed and are now fully operational.

Led by Club President Atul Bansal, office-bearers and members of the club visited the Cancer Oncology Department on Friday and interacted with patients. They said the newly installed air conditioners would provide a more comfortable environment for patients during treatment and post-operative recovery. A cool and comfortable atmosphere plays a significant role in helping patients recover faster during post-operative care.

Speaking on the occasion, Club President Atul Bansal said the initiative was a small but meaningful contribution towards making cancer treatment more comfortable and humane for patients. He added that the club would continue to undertake such community service initiatives in the future.

During the visit, Club President Atul Bansal, along with Kashish Bansal, Siddhant Jain, Rajat Bakshi, Sahil Arora, Preetish Bansal, Ankit Dawra, Anu Bansal and Aseem Arora, also met PGIMS Medical Superintendent Dr. Kundan Mittal and Head of the Cancer Oncology Department Dr. Sanjeev Prasad. Both PGIMS officials appreciated the club's support for patient welfare and commended its continued commitment to social service.
