Role of micronutrients discussed in Home Science College outreach program 

Chandigarh: In continuation with the ongoing online awareness generation programs to celebrate Poshan Maah, today's topic included an extensive discussion on the role of micronutrients and their importance. Adolescent girls were the target audience. The webinar gave an insight about the role of Micronutrients especially Vitamin A, Iron , Zinc and Iodine and Rich dietary source of particular micronutrient.

Principal Prof Sudha Katyal encouraged all the viewers to follow healthy eating practices to avoid onset of any micronutrient deficiency to ensure good health and immunity. /(Sept 24)
