Rohtak, April 3, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that Rohtak district has secured first position in the state under the D-Plan Scheme for the year 2025–26, reflecting outstanding performance in implementation and utilization of funds.
He said that the district was allocated a total budget of ₹16,74,38,000, out of which ₹16,68,56,154 has been utilized through online expenditure, achieving an impressive 99.65% utilization rate.
The Deputy Commissioner attributed this achievement to the coordinated efforts of all departments, transparent functioning, effective monitoring, and the dedicated supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC). He specifically acknowledged that the ADC played a pivotal role through continuous follow-ups, close monitoring and proactive coordination with departments, ensuring timely and efficient utilization of funds.
He congratulated all officers and employees for this remarkable performance and emphasized that such results are possible only through teamwork, accountability and strong administrative leadership.
Highlighting the significance of the D-Plan Scheme, he said that it provides financial autonomy to districts for executing priority-based local development works, including roads, drainage, sports infrastructure, anganwadis, schools and community facilities.
He added that development works under the scheme are approved through the District Development and Monitoring Committee, ensuring alignment with local needs and timely completion.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the administration will continue to implement development schemes with the same level of commitment, transparency and efficiency, ensuring that benefits reach the last mile.
