Rohtak Launches ‘Super 40’ for JEE, NEET & NDA Preparation; Education Minister Calls it a Transformational Model for Government School Students

Rohtak, May 4, 2026: In a significant step towards strengthening equitable access to quality education, Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda today launched the new session of the “Super 40” programme in Rohtak—an initiative designed to provide high-quality coaching for JEE, NEET, and NDA to students of government schools.

Describing the initiative as a “transformational model in public education,” the Education Minister said that the State Government is committed to ensuring that no child is deprived of opportunities due to lack of resources.

The programme was formally launched at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Hisar Road. On the occasion, the Education Minister announced a grant of ₹5 lakh from his discretionary fund to further strengthen infrastructure and learning support under the Super 40 initiative.

The Super 40 programme aims to bridge the gap between government and private education by providing structured coaching for JEE (Engineering), NEET (Medical), and NDA (Defence Services), experienced faculty from government schools and competitive learning environment and regular assessment.

The initiative ensures that talented students from government schools receive the same quality of preparation as top private coaching institutes.

Interacting with the first batch of students, the Education Minister reviewed their preparation and feedback from the recently conducted crash course.

He remarked, “Students of government schools are second to none. They have immense potential—what they need is the right guidance, discipline, and consistent effort.”

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the programme is inspired by Haryana Government’s flagship “Super 100” model, but expands its reach to include students who may not have been part of that programme. “Super 40 is about inclusion and opportunity. We are bringing high-quality coaching within the government school ecosystem so that talent is not constrained by access,” he added.

The programme will be further expanded from the upcoming academic session with One-year structured programme for Classes 11th and 12th. Two-year phased preparation model for competitive exams, Strong NCERT-based conceptual foundation and Regular testing and performance tracking.

The initiative aims to prepare students for admission into premier institutions such as IITs (Engineering), AIIMS & top medical colleges (NEET), and National Defence Academy (NDA) while also challenging the perception that quality competitive preparation is limited to private institutions.

The Education Minister appreciated the district administration’s efforts, highlighting that initiatives like NIPUN Haryana Mission and Super 40 are setting new benchmarks in public education through innovation and commitment.

Super 40 is not merely a coaching programme; it is a scalable governance model that integrates equity, quality, and aspiration, positioning Rohtak as a frontrunner in delivering competitive excellence through government schooling.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta emphasized that Super 40 is not just a coaching initiative but a structural intervention in public education. “Super 40 is about transforming access into excellence. We are bringing high-quality competitive preparation into government schools so that talent is not limited by access or affordability. Our goal is clear—students from government schools should confidently compete for IITs, AIIMS, and NDA on merit.”

He further added, “This initiative ensures that opportunity reaches the last mile. It is a step towards making government schooling synonymous with quality and competitiveness.”
