Road safety awareness workshop 

Chandigarh: The Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a Road Safety Awareness Workshop in association with Chandigarh Traffic Police, here today. 

Mr. Shashank Anand, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic and Security, U.T. Chandigarh addressed the students about the traffic rules which are to be followed in true spirit. In his address, Mr. Anand said that every human life is precious and should not to be lost in road accident. 

Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic and Security, U.T. Chandigarh gave an informative lecture on Traffic rules and road safety. 

Prof. Meenu Paul, Chairperson, Department of Laws also addressed the students on road safety awareness. Later, an interactive session with the students was arranged. The response of the students was overwhelming. The faculty members were also present on the occasion.
