RGI celebrates world environment week

Mohali: Rattan Group of Institutions sector-78, organized online poster making and slogan writing competition to mark the World Environment week in association of Red Ribbon Club. The competition was held under the supervision of Dr Amritpal Kaur, Principal of Rattan Professional College of education.

In this competition, students portrayed a healthy environment in their posters. The students painted their perceptions on paper about saving the planet earth from pollution and other damages. Apart from this, students also showcased the difference between an unhealthy environment and a healthy one   and also wrote creative slogans over their paintings to address the message.

Chairman, Rattan Group Sunder Lal Aggarwal emphasized the need of healthy environment for a healthy mind and body. According to him we need to celebrate everyday like world environment day and plant more and more trees and take care of them. He later, advised the students to use cycles in place of bikes and cars at least once or twice a week.

Sangeeta Aggarwal member RGI informed that the college believes in not only planting a tree, but taking care of the same till it grows into a tree.
