RGC wins overall second position in PU Inter-College Road Cycling Championship

Ludhiana, March 14, 2022: The cyclists of Ramgarhia Girls College brought laurel to the college by clinching  Overall Second position in Panjab University Inter-College Road Cycling (Men and Women) Championship held in association with K.C.W. at South City, Ludhiana. 

In Individual Time Trial category Jyoti and Pooja won silver and bronze and in Road Race category Pooja got silver medal and Jyoti secured fourth position respectively.  

Officiating Principal, Dr. Rajeshwar Pal Kaur congratulated Prof. Rani Kaur from the Dept. of Physical Education on the achievement and appreciated the cyclists. She said: “It is a matter of pride for us that the college cyclists have displayed their ace and have won the  medals out of the tough competition and I wish them to achieve many more victories in the future also.” 

Ranjodh Singh, President Ramgarhia Educational Council appreciated the cyclists for romping home victorious. They averred that hard work was the key to success and the cyclists must keep putting in efforts to make their mark in the field. 

Prof. Rani Kaur expressed her gratitude towards the management of the college and the Principal for their support and encouragement and said that the guidance provided by their coach, Sukhvir Singh played an instrumental role in their success.
