RGC organises Freshers Party

Ludhiana, November 27, 2021: RGC always aims to provide students a comfortable surrounding and encourage them to excel and prosper in their life. With this theme, the college commemorated the new beginning of first year and of second year students by building a friendly atmosphere  and welcoming them for their exciting journey ahead with a day of exuberance.The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Rajinder Kaur, M.D., G.S. Radiators as the chief guest. S.Ranjodh Singh, President Ramgarhia Educational Council was also present. The wondrous Fresher Party commenced with the floral welcome of the chief guest.  A series of amazing performances were put up by the students of various classes. A fiesta consisting of dance, dramatics, fashion show and singing performances defined the event. It was a fun filled event at which the freshers had an opportunity not only to showcase their talents, but also to interact with the seniors. Joy and happiness could be seen on the faces all around. The ceremony advanced with a ramp walk in which many contestants from first and second year vied for the Ms.Fresher 2021. The contest included several rounds consisting of dress parade and questionnaire round in which the contestants had  to prove their beauty and brains.  At the end of the very enjoyable competition. Simranjeet Kaur was crowned as Ms. Fresher, Manjit as first Runners Up and Bisman as second Runners Up from first year. Likewise  Shikha was crowned Ms. Fresher, Jaspreet as first Runners Up and Shivani as second Runners Up from second year. Mrs.Rajinder Kaur awarded the titles. The students  who won prizes and contributed RGC in winning first Runners Up during Youth and Heritage Festival were also felicitated. While congratulating the students S. Ranjodh Singh asserted that RGC has always managed to shine through such competitions and the fresher students are also welcomed to the clan. They should learn to carry forward the rich legacy of RGC. Offg. Principal Dr.Rajeshwarpal Kaur shared her views saying that we are  feeling blessed to have gathered here after a period of one long year. Such events are an inseparable part of student's life for these provide an opportunity for the newcomers to build rapport with their batch mates, seniors and faculty.  It also helps the students to exhibit their talent, adapt to the new surroundings and take up challenges ahead. She also appreciated the efforts of CSA incharge Prof. Tajinder Kaur and Dr.Ajit Kaur on the successful conduct of the event.
