Jalandhar, May 28, 2022: Ramgarhia Girls College organised its Annual Prize Distribution Function wherein prizes were given away to the students who had excelled in academics, sports and cultural activities during the session 2021-22. 

Kulwant Singh Sidhu, M.L.A., Atam Nagar, Ldh. presided over the event as the Chief Guest and Amarjit Singh Syan(U.S.A.) and Dr.Ashwani Bhalla, Deputy Director, DPI as the Guest of Honour. Offg. Principal, Dr. Rajeshwar Pal Kaur, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, Ranjodh Singh and General Secretary, Gurcharan Singh Lotey, accorded a warm welcome to the eminent guests. 

The ceremony commenced with a prayer to the Almighty as the students of PG Dept. of Music Vocal rendered a shabad in their soulful voices. Thereafter, the Chief Guest gave away prizes to 200 meritorious students. S.Kulwant Singh Sidhu congratulated the prize winners and said that educated women have more opportunities to achieve higher socioeconomic status. They have increased career avenues because educated women have the confident to enter the workforce. 

Dr. Rajeshwar Pal Kaur said that the session 2021-22 has proven to be a very successful year once again for the College. It is overwhelming that we are celebrating the commitment and achievements of our students in academics, sports, and in cultural endeavours. 

Ranjodh Singh and Gurcharan Singh Lotey also appreciated the performance of the students. They said that these students must be encouraged to scale new heights in their future also. 

On this day, Dr. Satish Sharma, Dr. Nirmal Jaura Former Principal Dr.Natinder Sandhu, Principal Manjinder Kaur, Principal Chamkaur Singh and and Principals of various Ramgarhia Institutions also graced the occasion with their presence.
