Kapurthala, March 31, 2026: A Retirement-cum -Promotion Function was organized today at Rail Coach Factory , Kapurthala. The function was presided over by the newly appointed General Manager of Rail Coach Factory, Ajay Nandan.
During the function held at Waris Shah Hall of Rail Coach Factory, retirement dues and pension-related documents were handed over by the General Manager to a total of 48 employees on their retirement, while promotion letters were distributed to 39 employees.
Since November 2024, a new initiative has been introduced at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, under which retiring employees receive their retirement documents on the same day, and employees promoted in their place are also issued promotion orders during the same occasion. Under this system, the retiring senior employee hands over the promotion letter to the next eligible employee on their last working day.
In accordance with this initiative, retiring employees handed over promotion letters to the promoted employees during today’s function. Thereafter, General Manager Shri Ajay Nandan presented retirement documents to the retiring employees.
On this occasion, Ajay Nandan conveyed his best wishes to the retiring employees for a bright future and a healthy and happy life. In his address, he said that the contribution of all employees to the remarkable achievements of RCF will always remain unforgettable. Congratulating the promoted employees, he expressed hope that they would uphold the dignity of their new positions and contribute further to the progress of the organization.
All retiring and promoted employees appeared delighted during the function and expressed their gratitude to the RCF administration for organizing such a respectful event. Family members of employees, senior officers, and representatives of unions and associations were also present on the occasion.
