Ferozepur, April 27, 2014: O P Nandrajog, Lieutenant General (Retired) today eulogized the students of DCM Group of Schools and persuaded them to involve themselves in sports activities and keep bringing laurels to the DCM Group at State, National and International level.
O P Nandrajog was here to attend Inter-DCM Volleyball Championship as Chief Guest. All the schools of DCM Group, situated at Faridabad, Ambala, Ludhiana, Ferozepur City, Ferozepur Cantt, participated in this championship.
In the boys group (U-17), DCM Senior Secondary School, Ferozepur Cantt beat DCM International, Ferozepur City by 25-16 and 25-13 and clinched the trophy while in the girls group (U-17) DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana beat DCM International, Ferozepur City by 25-12 and 25-17 to bag the Gold Medal.
The championship was presided over by Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools. Amita Bhatia, Principal, DCM International School, Ferozepur City, Ruchi Sharma, Principal DCM Senior Secondary School, Ferozepur Cantt., Avinash Singh, VP Admin, Anu Sharma, Sports Officer also marked their presence in the function.
